Dear Team,

Key Points:

Manchester Metropol=
itan University has provided an update on CAS delays and visa support follo=
wing the implementation of a new system.

CAS target:=
For overseas applicants whose information and documents were complete by t=
he required deadline, the University aims to issue CAS by 21 Septem=
ber 2026 or contact students if further information is required.</=
p>
Admissions, International Office and Visa Compliance teams are working=
together to process CAS cases.

Students should respond promptly to U=
niversity requests and keep their CAS Shield information a=
nd documents complete and up to date.

The latest arrival/enrolment da=
tes have been extended for a range of programmes. Students should contact t=
o confirm their programme-specific deadline.

UK Applicants:</=
strong>

Students applying for a Student Visa from within the UK may r=
eceive a CAS up to the latest enrolment date and can enrol while their visa=
application is pending, except Graduate Visa holders.
=

Graduate Visa holders must have their Student Visa granted before enrolm=
ent. Priority service support has been extended to eligible Graduate Visa h=
olders under the applicable terms.

=A3500 UKVI Priority Servi=
ce Support:

Eligible self-funded students w=
hose late CAS puts their arrival at risk may receive a =A3500 tuiti=
on-fee credit after enrolment.

The support applies to UKVI P=
riority Service (=A3500) and also contributes =A3500 towards Super Priority=
Service (=A31,000).

Students must be contacted and confirmed as elig=
ible by the University; they should not assume eligibility=
.

Evidence of payment for the priority service is required.

The=
credit does not reduce the tuition fee stated on the CAS, so students must=
demonstrate the full required funds for their visa.

Government-, emp=
loyer-, company- or third-party-sponsored students are excluded.

The =
credit is not available if the student does not enrol, including where a vi=
sa is refused.

Action Required:
Counsellors shoul=
d ensure students monitor CAS Shield, respond quickly to requests, confirm =
their latest arrival date where necessary, and apply for the appropriate UK=
VI priority service as soon as possible once the CAS is received.
