Dear Mr. Halidu,

Thank you for your honest response and for your continued interest in the
Ghana Academia Awards 2026.

We sincerely acknowledge your current financial constraints and appreciate
your openness with us. In view of this, we are willing to offer you a
special discount to support your participation.

However, the proposed amount of GHS 2,000 is unfortunately far below the
minimum cost required for participation in a national event of this scale.
If this were one of our regional events, such as the Ashanti Business Merit
Awards, we might have been able to accommodate that amount, especially
considering that you are a past awardee. Unfortunately, the rising costs of
hotel reservations, logistics, administration, and event production make it
difficult for us to go that low for the Ghana Academia Awards.

That said, I am pleased to offer you a discounted rate of GHS 5,000 instead
of the original GHS 10,000 package, while still allowing you to enjoy all
the benefits attached to that package. Regrettably, this is the lowest
threshold we can offer.

I hope this gesture provides some relief and enables your participation.
You may now proceed to complete the form based on the revised amount of GHS
5,000 and send it back to me at your convenience.

Warm regards,
Ernest Lartey
Team Lead
Ghana Academia Awards 2026
