PERMISSION TO BE ABSENT FROM SCHOOL TO ATTEND MY GRANDPA
FINAL FUNERAL CELEBRATION

I am writing to respectfully ask for permission to be absent from school
from on [27th September,2025] to [2nd October,2025].

The reason for my absence is to travel and attend the funeral celebration
for my grandfather, who recently passed away. It is a very important family
event, and my presence is required to support my family and pay my final
respects.

I am a dedicated student and I am concerned about falling behind in my
studies. I will speak with my classmates and teachers before I leave to
collect all notes and assignments that I will miss. I promise to catch up
on all schoolwork and submit any pending assignments as soon as I return on
[Your Return Date].

Thank you for your understanding in this difficult time for my family.

Respectfully yours,

DERICK PADDY
